Once you have configured an access to code to grant access to exclusive items on your event. Besides from accessing the event via an access code URL, you can also enable two types of direct input for the code on your website.
Both methods of displaying the access code input are detailed below.
Method 1 - "My Profile" Input
The default way to display direct access code input can be enabled by doing the following:
1. In the left-hand menu, click "Ecommerce > Basket Codes" and click the "Access Codes" tab at the top of the page:
2. From here, click "Settings" in the top right-hand corner of the screen:
3. This will then open the settings pop-up window - toggle "Show access code input" on and save:
4. Now, when customers access the site, they will be able to directly input an access code by clicking on "Profile > Access Codes" in the top right-hand corner of the site:
Method 2 - Event Template Block input
For a more prominent access code input, directly on the event page, do the following:
1. Click on the event you would like to add the access code input to, and click "Customise event page"
2. From here, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Add Block > Add Template Block > Forms"
3. Give your block a title, such "Access Code Input" and select the "Access code form":
4. Once the form type has been selected, scroll down to add heading and subheading text to your input:
5. Once you are happy with the styling and appearance of your access code input, click "Save Block"
6. With the block saved, use the drag icon on the left-hand side of the block to reorder the input on the page:
7. Once you are happy with the postioning of the input, click "Publish Changes" to save you work
8. Now, when customers visit the event page, they will be presented with the access code input at the top of the page:
