We have introduced a new feature to address the current behavior of the system.
Previously, when a customer transferred a ticket, a new barcode would be generated. This caused the version downloaded by the original ticket owner to become invalid within Access Control.
To facilitate order sharing, particularly for scenarios such as school groups where the organiser needs to print out all the tickets for attendees, we have implemented the option to maintain the barcode when instant transfers are enabled. This means that even after a ticket has been transferred, the barcode remains unchanged and valid for Access Control purposes.
By retaining the original barcode, we ensure a smoother experience for both organisers and attendees. Organisers can easily distribute tickets without worrying about invalidated versions, and attendees can confidently use the printed tickets at the event without any issues during entry.
This enhancement simplifies the process of ticket management and improves the overall efficiency of the system when dealing with shared orders.
This option can be found under Settings > General Settings for easy access and management.
It is crucial to highlight that when this option is enabled, any ticket that has been downloaded before the transfer took place remains valid. This means that even if a transfer occurs, the previously downloaded ticket will still be accepted at the event's Access Control.
