For seated events, it's very easy to reallocate your customer's seats through "Reallocation". It should be noted that reallocation is only available on reserved seating events.
Before reallocating a customers' seats, it is advisable to find their order under "Sales & Reports > Orders" and note the seat(s) they currently have. This will make it easier to locate their seat(s) on the event
Customers' seats can be reallocated by doing the following:
1. Locate the event that the customer has purchased a ticket for
2. On the event, under "Actions > Suggested" click "Manage Seating Plan"
3. On this page, find the seat that your customer has purchased and select it
4. On the right-hand side of the interface, next to the order details, click "Reallocate":
5. After this, click a new seat on the plan to reallocate the customer's seat
6. Once a seat has been selected, click "Reallocate" above the plan
7. This will trigger a pop up with two options:
- Regenerate Barcode - This will assign the ticket a new barcode
- Send confirmation email - This allows you to send the customer an email notifying them that their seat has been reallocated
