Localized Access Control Arrives on Android

Until now, your hardworking access control staff have had to navigate our app in English.

And while English is widely understood, it doesn't capture the world's linguistic richness. That's why in this release we've added multi-locale access control on Android*.

We recognised that, in a time of global events and international staff, still relying on one language is impractical.

With this new update, access control staff can now engage with our app in their preferred language.

For events operating across diverse regions, this feature adds a much-needed personal touch. By making our software feel local, it fits seamlessly wherever your event is in the world.

For us, this development aligns with our core product value: Global scale, and local needs. We want our product to meet local needs globally via extensive customization and localization options.

New API for Event Metrics

Introducing our new Event Statistics API: real-time analytics to drive event success.

This powerful API puts granular event data directly into the hands of our organizers and partners.

Access real-time sales for events, drill into timeslot performance and analyze item popularity.

This API opens up a world of possibilities, limited only by your creativity.

With this data, you can create custom real-time dashboards or tap into predictive analytics. Marketing teams, think about the ability to pivot campaigns instantly based on demand indicators from this API.

The possibilities are endless.

Cutting Clicks for Dedicated Box Office Employees

A core tenant of our product strategy is Customer Experience Excellence. Removing UI/UX papercuts and annoyances remain at the forefront of our values.

We saw the pain of our box office staff being forced to navigate through to the admin portal just to access the box office.

So we’ve introduced a user specific setting allowing their default starting point to be the box office itself.

No more mazes or wasted clicks between staff and the tools they need to serve customers.

We want to continue to remove these walls between your staff and the tools they need to do their jobs. It’s our end goal to ensure every interaction users have with the system is purposeful and optimised for their specific role.

Continuous iteration towards an intuitive product

In the game of innovation, it's easy to get high on shiny new features. But remember, it’s not about how fancy the tech is, it's about how the customer uses it.

It's the job of our UX team to ask - does this enhance the journey for our customers? Does this remove friction from their path?

In recent weeks, the team has been meticulously fine-tuning the core flows and removing those little (and big) headaches for your users.

You'll notice UX improvements to our list views and index pages, introducing a more standardised experience across pages.

Additionally, users will now avoid those annoying post-submission corrections on forms. Our validation tool catches slip-ups in real-time, making sure submissions are precise the first time around.

In our ongoing quest for perfection, we’ll keep honing the edges until the product feels polished and intuitive.

Mobile Box Office Adds Area-Based Seat Selection

In the past box office software didn't allow you to pick seats in a specific area. This left fans who had waited in line disappointed when they were given undesirable seats on the day of the event.

To solve this problem, we’re including areas to our "Best Available" feature in our mobile box office application.

Our box office app used to consider the whole seating plan when using the best available seating. This works if your areas differ in price, but not ideal if your tickets are a standard price across the venue.

So we’ve introduced this update to bring the precision of our web-based box office directly to the mobile experience.

Once rolled out to devices this month, box office staff will be able to allocate seats based on the customer's preferences and comfort. This little enhancement will turn a transactional interaction into a delightful moment of service.
