Release 26

Localised Box Office Arrives on Android

In release 25, we reaffirmed our commitment to meeting local needs by launching localised versions of our access control apps. That was an important milestone but we can’t stop there.

In this release, we continue that commitment by bringing multi-language capabilities to our box office app too.

Recognising the linguistic diversity of many workforces, we believe that language barriers should never stand between staff and attendees. After all, effective communication remains at the heart of outstanding service.

This is especially evident during the sales interaction, a pivotal moment in a customer's journey. With our added multi-language capabilities, your staff will be equipped to not just access but truly understand the nuances of a customer's order.

Our aim with these updates is to ensure that, regardless of where your event takes place around the world, our products always feel like home.

Set and Forget: Introducing Default Event Media

Every event has a story to tell, and its tickets tell the tale of an experience yet to come.

But our UX team realised that manually configuring ticket designs for a particular venue, or frequently used inventory item, was a repetitive chore.

So from today, you can set default event media and Apple pass designs at the venue level.

This means any event hosted within that venue will automatically use the designated ticket design, streamlining your event setup process.

Yet we’re still retaining the ability to set defaults at both the company and event levels, alongside the bespoke designs at a sale item level. Having both options available ensures layered flexibility to meet the varied needs of event management.

Global performance improvements

In this release we popped the hood, tightened the screws, and injected a big dose of performance-enhancing updates across our product suite.

Over the past month, our team has delivered performance improvements across our platform, from reseller hubs through to admin your experience will now be faster no matter where you are in our system.

Particularly, large accounts with significant amounts of data (events, orders, transactions, and customers) will experience speed improvements comparable to new customers who are just getting started.

The work we've done sets the framework for even bigger performance gains down the road. Consider this month's work a preview of how we will continue to remove any buffers between you and the tools you need to succeed.

There is always more work to be done. But we have set an ambitious bar for performance that we are committed to clearing again and again.

Real-Time Field Validation for Seamless Forms

We've all been there - filling out a form, hitting 'submit', only to be greeted with errors on those initial fields. It's frustrating and time-consuming to have to retrace steps and fix avoidable mistakes.

With our latest release, we're introducing real-time field validation. Now as users fill out a form they'll get guidance in the moment. No more submitting only to get error messages at the end. It's a small change but it will make a big difference in removing frustration.

Ultimately, it’s our job to create a user experience that’s not only intuitive but also respectful of a user's time and effort. It’s why our UX team is relentless in anticipating pain points, and smoothing them over through thoughtful design.

So we'll keep refining, iterating, and removing any hiccups that get in the way of sales.

Dive Deeper with our strengthened Partner API

We recognise the importance of seamless, flexible integration for our technical partners. The Partner API stands as a beacon for this commitment and understanding, often forming the backbone between technical integrators and our platform.

With the recent release of version 26, we have expanded the capabilities of our company management tools within the Partner API. Now, partners can seamlessly edit, filter, search, and manage companies directly through the API without needing to go through the partner hub website.

We believe in crafting tools that enable our partners to build synergistic ecosystems together. By enhancing the Partner API, we are not just adding features - we’re reaffirming our promise to support and foster the creative aspirations of our technical partners.
